HAMILTON NAMED
GENERAL MANAGER OF
CENTER FOR FITNESS AND HEALTH
Corey A. Hamilton has been named general manager of
Monongahela Valley Hospital’s Center for Fitness
and Health, located at the Mon-Vale HealthPLEX in WillowPointe
Plaza in Rostraver Township.
In this capacity, Hamilton
oversees operations of the Center for Fitness and Health
and supervision of staff
at the facility. The Center for Fitness and Health
features medically integrated fitness equipment and
a membership of more than 2,500 persons.

We are very pleased to have Corey as our general manager,” Thomas
J. Cullen, senior vice president at Monongahela Valley
Hospital, said. “He has extensive experience
and expertise in the management of fitness and wellness
facilities and these qualities will be an asset to
the goals and ideals of the Center for Fitness and
Health and providing quality services for our membership.”
Prior
to accepting the general manager position at the Center
for Fitness and Health, Hamilton was general
manager of the Sawmill Athletic Club in Columbus, Ohio.
In that position, he was responsible for overseeing
the daily operations of the 85,000 square-foot athletic
facility.

I’m looking forward to working with the staff
and members of the Center for Fitness and Health
to continue developing programs that will meet the
needs and satisfaction of our members,” Hamilton
said. “We have a dedicated and experienced
staff of professionals who are ready, willing and
able to help the members in any way possible. We
have the ability to give specialized training to
both a beginner who is just starting a fitness regimen
or to an advanced, seasoned member. My first goal
is to get out on the floor and meet our members.”

outpatient services available in one location,” he
added. “It’s a real plus to have these
medical professionals here.”
In addition to
his most recent position in Columbus, Hamilton also
has worked as General Partner/General
Manager for Ventura County Athletic Clubs in Ventura,
California and as Controller for Nautilus of California,
Inc., also in California.
He was graduated in 1983
from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in
business administration and physical education and
completed his Master of Arts Degree in sports management
and administration at The Ohio State University in
Columbus.\
